A Crisis Guide Will Be Delivered to Every Resident in Poland in Case of War or Emergencies

A crisis guide has been prepared for everyone in Poland https://www.gov.pl/web/poradnikbezpieczenstwa

By the end of 2025, every household in Poland will receive a special "crisis guide" by mail, teaching citizens how to act in emergency situations.
According to Yavp.pl, this is a joint project of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration (MSWiA), the Ministry of National Defence (MON), and the Government Security Center (RCB). It offers practical advice on how to prepare for emergencies such as military actions, power outages, first aid, fires, or alarm signals.

The 40-page "Poradnik bezpieczeństwa" brochure contains simple tips, a list of the most important emergency numbers, and recommendations on where to seek support in emergencies. The publication also includes a sample family crisis action plan—a document with key information to help plan actions in advance in case of an emergency.

“Such a comprehensive document guaranteeing and supporting safety has never been created before. Never before has all the necessary information on how to respond to crisis situations—from natural disasters to the most extreme cases such as war—been gathered in one place. We live in dangerous times: there is an armed conflict on our eastern borders, and almost every year we face the consequences of natural disasters. This guide is meant to make us more secure,” said the Minister of the Interior and Administration, Marcin Kierwiński.

The crisis guide "Poradnik bezpieczeństwa" will be sent to all households by mail, but it will also be available at the nearest city or municipal office. In addition, an online version of the guide is already available for download at: https://www.gov.pl/attachment/1882b0e4-728a-4324-b5f8-b11ff4ba55a5

It is promised that later the online version of the "crisis guide" will be available in several languages, including English and Ukrainian.
